Civil- Lou Larsen has been a continuously board certified civil trial lawyer since 2004 and has tried hundreds of cases on both sides of the courtroom for over 30 years.

Plaintiff view- Much of Lou’s career in negligence cases has been from the plaintiff’s side. This experience brings perspective to litigants in the caucus room that long time defense attorneys may not have. Every plaintiff and every case is unique. Many plaintiffs have no experience with tort cases and may have unrealistic expectations which impede settlement. Lou’s hands on experience in the arena brings the perspective required to achieve resolution.

Defense view- Lou understands the claims process and the challenges faced by adjusters, defense attorneys and insurers. Lou’s professionalism and insight of the “other room” could make the difference between resolving a case or the alternative. Having tried cases throughout the state for the past 30 years, he has seen all types of cases and plaintiffs. This experience and accompanying practicality is invaluable in the caucus room.
